Meet Charlottesville  VA  Orthodontist  Dr. Niepraschk

Markus Niepraschk, DDS, MS

Dr. Markus Niepraschk was born and raised in
Virginia Beach, Virginia. After completing his
undergraduate studies in nutritional science at
Brigham Young University, he attended dental
school at Virginia Commonwealth University. While
there he received numerous awards for academic
and clinical excellence and was inducted into the
Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor
Society. His hard work and dedication to the field
of dentistry allowed him to graduate summa cum
laude and first in his class. Dr. Niepraschk continued
his studies by completing a two-year orthodontic
residency at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was
awarded a Master of Science degree. His research has been published in The
American journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

As an orthodontist, Dr. Niepraschk successfully met the requirements of the
American Board of Orthodontics to become Board Certified and inducted
into the ABO's College of Diplomates. Such distinction demonstrates his

. commitment to providing the best treatment available to his patients. Dr.

Niepraschk believes in staying up-to-date on the latest technology and
advances in orthodontic treatment, working closely with other members of
the dental field, and communicating closely with patients to provide the best
possible treatment and ensure a winning smile. Dr. Niepraschk looks forward
to creating local relationships and serving in the community.

Outside of the office, Dr. Niepraschk enjoys camping, hiking, swimming,
skiing, woodworking, drawing, photography, and spending time with family.
He and his wife Emily have three lively children: Mark, Amelia, and Adeline.
Markus speaks fluent German and enjoys the outdoors. He has been a youth
soccer coach and looks forward to coaching his own children's soccer
teams. A rollercoaster junky, he cannot let a summer go by without visiting
Busch Gardens.

Dr. Niepraschk is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists,
American Dental Association, and Virginia Dental Association.
